| Support Planning is part of the Resident Services Department. The goal of this department is to help the people we support to achieve more independence either within their community or within the home itself. Support Planning creates and provides meaningful paid work placements within the community or in- house. This department is involved in providing opportunities for residents that they normally would not have the opportunity to enjoy. | ||
| Recreation works in conjunction with Support Planning. Recreation activities are offered to all residents daily and include walking groups, skill development, arts and crafts, sensory stimulation and community access which provides opportunities for residents to engage in learning and fun activities. Other major events include our Winter Carnival, Christmas Tea, Summer Garden Party, monthly dances, summer outings and Recreation Month. Residents also participate in Special Olympics. | ||
